When , the world’s largest spice company, chose Studiocom as their Interactive Agency of Record in 2007, the main objective was to increase interactivity and peer recipe sharing on the company’s multiple web properties, including complete redesigns of the parent McCormick and
Old Bay sites.

Studiocom’s interdisciplinary teams jumped headfirst into shifting McCormick’s online consumer experience from passive engagement to active participation. In two years, the agency has developed hundreds of integrated microsites, campaigns, corporate communications, newsletters, social engagements and mobile applications to meet the different needs of each McCormick entity and strengthen consumer connections. Studiocom’s media department has supported all creative initiatives with high-impact ad placements designed to build awareness and engagement with the right audiences at the right times.

To date, Studiocom’s efforts have achieved extremely positive results, with McCormick’s family of sites seeing significantly increased traffic and consumer interaction. Agency-led creative testing continues to provide insight into how consumers physically interact with online recipes, while innovative applications, such as the iPhone recipe finder, have been featured as iTunes application of the week.
